If that post title seemed generic, you haven’t yet spotted the pun. It would be perfectly understandable for Game Paradise to simply coast for the rest of the month on the new games donated by vendors during Gen Con. After the biggest gaming convention of the year, Game Paradise could’ve simply gone through the motions and allowed gamers to continue utilizing their extensive library and board games.
Rather than do that, however, they decided to partner with the Spirit and Place Festival in Fountain Square in order to donate over 1000 canned goods to the Fletcher Place Community Center Food Pantry (CAN you see the pun in the title now? We apologize), and they have a deal that just might entice you to join them. If you come in between now and Wednesday, September 3 and donate a canned good, you’ll receive 5% off either one item or on your day pass to play games out of the library. Each canned good after the first gives you an additional 1% off, up to a maximum of 20%.
If Gen Con got you excited about some of the newest games on the market, this is your chance to keep playing them on the cheap.
