Just because the Pacers are busy keeping the city’s hopes alive for an NBA championship doesn’t mean they aren’t willing to take time out of their schedule and connect with the community. One such connection is the Call-a-Pacer program with the Indianapolis Public Library. The Pacers have been teaming with the IPL for 21 years, and while the roster of the team has changed, the program remains mostly the same.
Callers can listen to a featured Pacer (or related media personality) read part of a children’s story. You can call either (317) 275-4444 or (877) 275-9007 to hear the Pacer of the week read an excerpt.
