As we’re nearing the start of summer, the sun is staying up late and the temperatures are rising. On days when the weather becomes hot and steamy, nothing sounds better than taking a dip in cool water. Except perhaps flying through the air on a rip-roaring roller coaster. Can you guess where you can take part in both of those activities? If you guessed Holiday World, it may have been because the phrase ‘Holiday World’ was in the title of this post. We’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, though.
Technically, Holiday World down in Santa Claus Indiana falls outside our jurisdiction of the greater Indianapolis area. However, we know many of our Cheapsters tend to take trips down to Holiday World at least once a summer, and we want to let you in on a way to save money on tickets. From now until October 27, you can purchase discount tickets to Holiday World and Splashing Safari at all Marsh and O’Malia’s locations. You can buy adult tickets there for $38.95 (a $7 savings) as well as senior (aged 60+) and kids tickets for $33.95 (a $3 savings). Children aged two and under always have FREE admission.
The only days you cannot purchase tickets for within that block of time are four days in September: the 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th. Other than that, you can visit Holiday World and Splashing Safari any day you like this summer. Both parks are known for being incredibly clean and friendly, for offering a decent variety of rides and attractions, and for always providing FREE sunscreen and soft drinks.
