Croppin’ for a Cause is gearing up for its next craft day fundraiser this fall to benefit Every Dog Counts Rescue, a foster home system to save the life of dogs (and cats) from high-kill shelters in the Midwest.
That’s a cause Butler Blue II would have licked your face for in gratitude.
So, here’s the deal: this fundraising event among scrapbookers, cardmakers, and those who like company as they work on their yarn crafts will be held on Saturday, October 19 at the Sahara Grotto. The fee for your workspace during this 12-hour event (10 am to 10 pm) is $20 and all proceeds go to Every Dog Counts Rescue. The organizers also award door prize tickets for every item attendees bring to donate: paper towels, new or gently used leashes, towels, crates, collars, laundry detergent and bleach, harnesses. Or, get a ticket for every dollar you donate and you can be eligible for the drawings even if you can’t draw a straight line.
Prizes include everything from craft supplies to restaurant certificates to massages and other personal service goodies from local businesses.
Each cropper will receive a goody bag, and the pitch-in meal is always a highlight, so bring along a dish, dessert, or drink to share.
Email croppin4acause@gmail.com or call Mandy at (317) 698-6211 or Brittani at (317) 650-3663 for a registration form. The event is limited to 90 participants.
But why end the love there? Click on the “share” link on our Facebook post or retweet our link at Twitter, and we’ll donate 50 cents for every share to the Bulldog Memorial in Blue’s honor. This way, every dog has his day.
