Whenever you mention Broad Ripple, we imagine most Cheapsters have a vision of a hip and indie hangout with plenty of shops, restaurants, and parties to check out. Of course if you live in Broad Ripple, you likely envision your home, but you get the idea.
Tonight is a particularly great evening to check out this section of town, especially if you haven’t been there for awhile. One event alone is interesting, but we know of two going on tonight in Broad Ripple.
The first is the Broad Ripple Young Professionals Network is holding a bike ride from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. They will be meeting to set out in front of Rusted Moon before riding south to a as-of-yet unknown establishment for a few brews before finishing the ride at Broad Ripple Brew. It’s FREE to join in for all young professionals out there, and all you have to do is bring your bike and a readiness to have fun.
In the meantime, you can also join the Broad Ripple Tavern in tending for the troops. They are calling this event a “Night For Champions,” and the fun begins at 7:00 p.m. You’ll find everything from a bartending contest to a silent auction to live music from three bands. The Tavern is asking for $10 donations that will go direct to supporting our troops. You can have a great time while raising money for an awesome cause.
