We know the main event of the first weekend in February is the Super Bowl. You’re probably either hosting or going to a big party on Super Bowl Sunday, but what are you planning to do the day before? If you’re scratching your head trying to think of what might be on your calendar, we have a suggestion for you. Big Green Bistro is planning a Chili Bowl that day.
From noon to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, head over to Chef JJ’s Back Yard. If you attend the Chili Bowl, you’ll obviously have a chance to taste some succulent chili along with great sides prepared by Big Green Bistro. You can also take in the second leg of tryouts for Chef JJ’s Competition Grilling Team (cooking can be a fun spectator sport, plus you might pick up a new recipe to use on your own). Not only that, but you’ll have a chance to win some cool prizes along the way.
Big Green Bistro offers numerous cooking classes, and they are a fun option if you don’t mind paying up to $55 for the culinary education. The Chili Bowl, by contrast, costs only $12 per person. The Chili Bowl may be a couple of weeks off, but the number of tickets available are limited. We encourage you to buy soon if you’re interested. The Chili Bowl takes place at 1040 Broad Ripple Avenue.
