Garfield Park Conservatory and Sunken Gardens make for one of the most beautiful areas in all of Indianapolis. This is true no matter what time of year you visit. The greens of spring transform into the blooms of summer and the vivid colors of fall. In some ways, however, Garfield Park saves the best for last each year with Conservatory Crossing.
From now through New Year’s Eve, you and the rest of the family can come see the Garfield Park Conservatory in its other seasonal form. The area has been transformed into a winter wonderland, bedecked in its holiday best. You’ll see poinsettias, model trains with a train village, and thousands of twinkling lights. It’s a beautiful spot that is a bit off the beaten path. If you’re looking for other ideas of what to do on Black Friday, however, it can be a perfect winter oasis.
The cost is minimal at only $3 per person to visit the Garfield Park Conservatory Crossing. You can also pay $8 for a full family (limited to two adults). The open hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
