If you’ve been going out for more walks around the neighborhood outside lately with the days lasting longer and the weather cooperating nicely, you’ve probably seen plenty of families out walking with their pets. If that makes you want to adopt a dog or cat of your own (or another to join the one you have), these next couple of days are an awesome time to adopt from the Hamilton County Humane Society.
During the month of May (which admittedly isn’t much longer), they are playing off the Indianapolis 500 checkered flag theme and offering cats and dogs that are black, white, or both for just $30 (provided the pets are over the age of one). This promotion only lasts a couple more days, so head in today to check out the dogs and cats that would love to come home with you.
Of course, we can hear you raising the objection that you don’t know all that much about training a pet. That doesn’t have to be a deal-breaker, however, as there are so many classes out there on the cheap that offer guidance on properly training your pet. And if you really run into trouble, we know a dog whisperer named Vernon Taylor who offers a wide range of dog training services. You can click here to learn more about the dog whisperer, but keep in mind that he will offer you a $5o discount if you say you heard about him here at Indy on the Cheap.
The deal at the Humane Society may not last long, but it’s a great reason to make up your mind if you’ve been on the fence about adding a furry companion to your family.
