Domestic violence isn’t a topic we bring up much on Indianapolis on the Cheap. We don’t usually write about anything other than deals, discounts, and freebies for our Cheapsters, but every now and again we make an exception for a good cause. After all, even when we help you minimize the amount of money you are spending, we still want to show you the benefit for the money you do wind up spending, like the Beauty Brands End Abuse campaign.
The End Abuse campaign is an annual program Beauty Brands holds to raise awareness and funding for local domestic violence shelters. The program has not started yet for this year, but we wanted to give you advance notice that it begins Monday, September 23 and lasts through Sunday, November 3. During that time, all the proceeds of sales of certain products at your local Beauty Brands store will be donated directly to local shelters.
We’re letting you know this far in advance so that you can plan your shopping accordingly. If you are going to invest in beauty products anyway, at least you know your money will be going to a great cause in our community. Here are the particular products Beauty Brands has highlighted (the sales of these products will go to the shelters during the End Abuse campaign):
- Redken Guts volume-boosting spray foam (10 oz.)
- Tigi Bed Head Queen for a Day Thickening Spray (10 oz.)
- Matrix Total Results Moisture Cure 2-Phase Treatment (5.1 oz.)
