Like the Cat in the Hat and Disney characters, Curious George is one of those animated animals that captured our hearts when we were younger and now is now just as loved by our kids. Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat may have been in a movie released not that long ago, but before that they were stars in an older book series. For that reason, Barnes and Noble stores nationwide are hosting a FREE Curiosity Day with Curious George this weekend.
Starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, kids between the ages of three and seven and their parents (though kids of any age can participate) are invited to experience the joy reading brings. Booksellers at Barnes and Noble will read aloud from the original Curious George book. From there, children will be invited to view an enhanced NOOK version of the story and read along.
While reading is the biggest emphasis from Barnes and Noble, the fun will also continue with mazes, word searches, drawing, coloring, and even creating Curious George masks. Click here to learn more about Curiosity Day and locate the Barnes and Noble store closest to you.
