When we think of words to describe Georgia Street downtown, the words that come to mind are hip, fun, and festive. The coolest street in Indianapolis will be playing host this weekend to the NUVO Best of Indy Block Party. For just $5, you can party at the launch of the 2013 Best of Indy issue from Newsweekly from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday July 27.
People of all ages are welcome to attend the Best of Indy Block Party, and animals are welcome too. The Humane Society is a sponsor, and are happy to invite your pets to accompany you. The whole idea behind the Best of Indy Block Party is that the individuals, performing acts, and vendors this city voted as the best will be present and on display. With that in mind, Yats, Bazbeaux’s, Flying Cupcake, and more of the restaurants most voted for will be providing food. The vendors voted the Best of Indy will also be on site.
