The historic Irving Theater, located at 5505 East Washington Street, is hosting the Alternative Craft Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday December 15. This event is FREE to attend, and will feature local and handmade crafts. Local artists, craft makers, bakers, and small retailers will have booths set up to sell their products conveniently. You can do all your shopping in one big location, while enjoying the cajun cuisine served up by Papa Roux and Crew. If you don’t want to experience the slugfest that is the mall this time of year, craft fairs will become your new best friend.
