Contrary to what you might think after reading the title of this post, this isn’t actually about swimming. The Children’s Museum is not setting up a huge pool for adults to come play pool volleyball together or anything like that (though that might be a cool idea for them to keep in mind for the future, right?)
No, Adult Swim is an opportunity for adults to come together at The Children’s Museum on a night when the Museum is transformed just for them. Basically, the world’s largest children’s museum will be converted for one night only into a five-story casual-chic cocktail lounge. If you attend Adult Swim, you can take part in dancing, drinks, groovy games, and tasty treats. Live DJs will be putting together mixes to keep the atmosphere fun.
Adult Swim is an event created by both The Children’s Museum and The Sapphire Theatre Company. It was created by adults for adults to kick back, have a fun time, and release their inner child for an evening. This fun evening takes place from 8:00 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, February 23. As for why we want to point it out to you this early, we know a way for you to save money on tickets. As it stands, full admission costs $65 per person. If you order tickets online before February 16, you can take $10 off the cost and buy tickets for just $55 each. If you have a big group of friends, the discount is even better because you can buy a ten-pack for $500 ($50 per person).
All the proceeds from Adult Swim go to support the innovative arts and educational programs in schools across Indiana, so your price of admission is going to a great cause. We encourage you to order tickets early and take advantage of the discounts before partying the evening away at Adult Swim.
