Ready for a hair-raising party?
Pets quickly become part of our families. We want the best for our pets, whether they are cats and dogs or something more exotic like a snake or iguana. The Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana understands this love for our furry friends, and often raises money to provide affordable surgery options for pets and their caretakers. One such opportunity to raise money is the upcoming 8th Annual Hair Ball. This event takes place at the Irsary Pavilion in Carmel on Saturday October 6. While the proceeds will benefit your pets, this event is only for humans. With that said, you and your human family members have two options for attending.
You can simply purchase general admission tickets for the main event for $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Children ages 5 and under are FREE, which tickets for kids 6-12 are $10. The main event happens from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring live music by The Haters from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and The Whipstitch Sallies from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and a live auction between the two.
You can also purchase VIP reception tickets (which include general admission) for $50. Again, children ages 5 and under are FREE and children aged 6-12 are only $10. The VIP reception begins at 1:30 p.m., features live music by J.T. Express, and offers freshly-catered hors d’oeuvres and souvenir pint glasses. Your increased price also buys you the full cost of a spay or neuter surgery.
Regardless of whether you opt for VIP tickets or not, you can look forward to live music, live and silent auctions, and activities to keep the children happy and occupied. And when you remember that all of the funds raised will benefit pets around the city, it will be easier to “cough up” the admission price and enjoy the Hair Ball.
