Even for the most avid fans of the Indiana State Fair, December probably isn’t a month in which you think much about the Fair. The Indiana State Fair is held in August, a much warmer month than we are currently enjoying. This is more the season for dreaming of sugar plums and building a snowman (if it snows between now and Christmas) than for the sweet corn and lemon shake-ups of the Indiana State Fair. Yet, it’s the perfect time to start thinking ahead to the 2013 Indiana State Fair being held August 2-18, 2013.
Between now and December 31, you can purchase tickets for the Indiana State Fair for $4 off per ticket. This could be the perfect gift for that person on your Christmas list who loves the fair. Just be aware that the actual tickets will not be mailed out until July. So if you indeed decide to give these tickets as a Christmas gift, you’ll need to be a little creative in how you present them (you can probably come up with something cooler than simply handing them a receipt in a holiday card, but your call).
