This post is for all you Colts fans out there. As the playoffs come closer and closer, the stakes keep getting higher. For someone needing a blood transfusion, however, the stakes are almost never higher. Our Cheapsters giving their own blood can mean the difference between life and death for someone out there.
For that reason, we encourage you to consider taking part in the 13th Annual Bleed Blue Blood Drive at Lucas Oil Stadium this weekend. From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday December 8, the Indiana Blood Center and the Indianapolis Colts are partnering for the largest single-day blood drive of the year for Indiana. In addition to giving blood, you can receive FREE health information and screenings at the Health Fair and take part in the FREE fitness class held on the field.
Plus, everyone who participates will receive a FREE limited-edition Colts football with a picture of Coach Chuck Pagano highlighted on it. You don’t have to pre-register for this event, and you are encouraged to spread the word. For every person who gives blood this weekend, a person facing a fight for his or her life sees the odds of victory rise. And in that case, we all win.
