It’s not often you can get a hair cut for $10 or a shot at saying you helped create a Guinness World Records listing. Today you can do both at Mars Venus Salon in Brownsburg, where these stylists are donating their time as part of Aveda’s nationwide cut-a-thon.
The event takes place from noon to six, with walk-ins welcome. Each appointment slot is 30 minutes or less, and the salon will have a bounce house available for kids, along with balloon artists and a live singer to provide entertainment. Look for the bake sale if you’re hungry.
Don’t need a hair cut? You can also ask for a wellness experience, which involves Aveda’s Stress-Fix soaking salts. It’s also discounted to $10.
This is Aveda’s first cut-a-thon event and the goal is to set a record for most money raised by haircuts in a 24-hour period.
