It sounds like McDonald’s read our post a couple of weeks ago about Arbys Fresh Catch fish sandwiches, because they are now posting a deal of their own dealing with food from the sea. In true McDonald’s form, of course, they are calling their bite-sized fish choice Fish McBites. And in contrast to the Filet of Fish sandwich you’re probably familiar with already, Fish McBites are more like popcorn chicken (except for the obvious fact that it’s fish rather than chicken). Fish McBites are made from wild-caught Alaskan pollock, freshly breaded before being served to you.
McDonalds emphasizes that Fish McBites are little in size but big on taste. For the next couple of days, the Fish McBites aren’t the only things little in size. The price tag on them will be similarly small. Fish McBites come in three package sizes. You can choose from the snack, regular, or shareable cartons (with quantity and price both rising as you go). From Tuesday, February 12 to Thursday, February 14, you can try a snack-sized version of Fish McBites for just $1.
McDonald’s is not a big fish in a small pond, as they claim to have served over 99 billion. They haven’t gotten to the level of success they enjoy without serving tasty food. And Fish McBites are no exception, so give them a try in the next couple of days while the price is so low.
